​ACADEMICS

Teachers at Christian Family Academy utilize a variety of textbooks to teach our students.  A Beka curriculum is implemented in the lower elementary grades.  Bob Jones texts are used in middle school and high school for literature and history.  Shurley Grammar is taught in the second through eighth grades.  In science, students are instructed from Apologia, and Bob Jones, and Holt curriculum.  Math texts are selected from Holt, Merrill and Freeman.  The elementary math teachers employ Saxon texts.  Because the emphasis at CFA is working with the needs of the individual student, a variety of texts may be used to meet those specific needs.

Christian Family Academy uses a Bible based college preparatory curriculum that meets all North Carolina and NCAA college entrance requirements.

 

We believe that learning is a hands on experience and not just knowledge taught from a textbook.

We offer Honors and Advanced Placement classes in High School.

​

Our students consistently score at or above the national average on the SAT college entrance test.
